Lil’ Wayne took to social media to tease a few new tracks including a freestyle of Playboi Carti’s popular single “Magnolia.” Soon after many speculated the songs were off Weezy’s forthcoming Dedication 6 mixtape.
Turns out the songs are a part of a surprise EP from Lil Tunechi called In Tune We Trust. Originally set to drop back in June, the project arrived on Wednesday afternoon (Jul. 5).
The 4-track EP includes appearances by Jeezy, Mike WiLL Made-It, Gudda Gudda, and more.
Weezy was previewed yesterday, DJ Drama teased the upcoming mixtape Dedication 6 on his Snapchat account.
As per, he says that the new music is coming soon, but not set release date/The wait for new music from Wayne has been a long and arduous one for fans.
With the perpetually-delayed Tha Carter V, many die-hards had all but lost hope that new tracks were on the horizon.
