Nigerian and Mavin Records queen Tiwa Savage has dropped a new single featuring Duncan Mighty to get us dancing our best dance moves titled “Lova Lova”.
Duncan Mighty’s 2018 comeback is unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. For someone who formerly made music for a pretty niche audience, his current strategy to collaborate with all of our favourite afropop stars is certainly working out well for him.

All of Tiwa Savage‘s releases this year have proven that she really knows her work, and everything she does just continues to cement that fact. Although the song has a lot of ‘pick me’ overtones, Tiwa goes hard as usual, and we love it!
On the subtle Spellz-produced beat, Tiwa sings about how she’s a compatible choice for Mr. Lova Lova, before Duncan Mighty joins her to prove his own worth as a lover. We also noticed Wizkid’s backing vocals on the pre-chorus, which adds more excitement to the song!
This feature is definitely the best Duncan Mighty has done so far, because if we’re being honest, the other features found him simply going through the motions. On “Lova Lova”, however, him and Tiwa Savage clearly have great synergy, making for a mad jam.
