Nicki Minaj finally dropped her brand new hotly-anticipated video dubbed “Chun Li”.
“Chun Li” is directed by Steven Klein and consists of a futuristic set-up and Nicki Minaj cruises through the city, taking out her enemies in the process.
The Steven Klein-directed “Chun-Li,” which became Nicki’s 16th top 10 single on the Hot 100, showcases a tough Nicki. Clad in superhero/dominatrix-inspired ensembles, she once again takes on her clones.
Despite not announcing a release date for her forthcoming album, Minaj dishing out her brand new video certainly should give fans hope that her long-awaited project is just around the corner.

In addition to her recent singles, Minaj has kept busy on the features front, handing out verses to Young Thug (“Anybody”) and Post Malone (“Ball For Me”).
Janell also choreographed this visual, which employs Asian themes throughout. In fact, it plays out like a movie from the start, when Minaj issues a warning to her competitors.
“Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li” are set to appear on Minaj’s forthcoming fourth album. A release date will be revealed next week. Nicki will perform both tracks on the season finale of “SNL” on May 19.
