Sauti Sol Head Back To Kenya With ‘Rewind’, Featuring Khaligraph Jones.
Kenya’s award winning music group Sauti Sol are currently curating an LP, Afrikan Sauce, which will be released over a twelve month period, featuring top artists from all across Africa.Over the past three months, they’ve featured some of Nigeria’s finest artists such as Patoranking on “Melanin”, Tiwa Savage on “Girl Next Door” and Burna Boy on “Afrikan Star“.

Now, they have taken their talents back home, by featuring Kenyan rapper, Khaligraph Jones on their latest track, “Rewind”.

Apparently, when Kenyans heard about this collaboration, they were convinced that it would be a flop. Upon first listen, we admit it’s not out favorite off the album, however, we can’t deny that it’s a jam.
Sauti Sol definitely steal the show, and we think they could have done without the feature — which has not been the case in their previous releases.
This track must be very special to them because they sing about their come up and the stress they went through to get to where they are now saying they wish they could “rewind”.

The accompanying video, in usual Sauti Sol fashion, is really well shot. In between shots, they bring the lyrics to life with clips and photos of their lives before all the money and fame. This makes the video super engaging and adds to the poignancy of the lyrics.
